To display tamil fonts in android browers

Just follow the below steps to get it done:::

1. Type 'about:config' in mobile browser address bar. This opens configuration settings.
2. There is a option for use bitmap fonts. Change that to Yes.

This should fix the display problem

Here is the fix

Go to directory cd /usr/share/fonts/truetype/freefont/
Delete both the FreeSerif.ttf and FreeSans.ttf file.

Command

sudo rm -f /usr/share/fonts/truetype/freefont/FreeSerif.ttf
sudo rm -f /usr/share/fonts/truetype/freefont/FreeSans.ttf

Then restart your browser.
